Swift secretly wrote and recorded the song The Best Day over the summer as a Christmas gift for her mother. As the song played behind a compilation of home videos, Momma Swift didn’t even realize it was Taylor singing until halfway through the song. She had no idea that her daughter was capable of recording without her knowledge!
