Hidden Message: All I Ever Wanted Was The Truth
White Horse was originally Swift’s favorite on the album Fearless. Inspired by the tragic letdown by a supposed prince charming, it describes the worst moment of the breakup when it becomes clear that this fairytale is just a part of the past. Swift did not intend on releasing the song until her third album, but ended up recording it early for the television program Grey's Anatomy.
